Do I need tall valve covers?

I am getting roller rockers and was wondering if i need them or will the stock ones work?

Engine: uhuh
Transmission: sure does
It depends on the rockers.....

Most roller tip stamped steel type will fit, but the full roller aluminum body style I hear won't clear.
