You've got everything you need.
xunedeinx,
What exactly do you mean by a "Lift". A floor lift like you might find at a professional's garage is not at all necessary, it would probably be in the way more than it would be helpful.
Sounds like you have all the big stuff you need. Since you have those items, you likely have all the smaller hand tools you need as well.
We put the Z-28 up on jackstands to keep the car stable and to provide some extra room for the tranny. I pulled them seperate, but put them back as a complete unit.
Sincerely,

I'd skip the jackstands if it were me - might have trouble getting block to clear car if it's jacked up. When I swapped, I was glad I was as low as possible - we still had to manuver block to keep from damaging radiator and front end. The higher the block in the air, the more top-heavy the whole picker becomes, and the harder to roll away from the car.
There is one other thing your missing - a 350 block!

[IMPO] I'd never pull the block without taking the extra 2 minutes to pull the radiator. You already have the hoses removed and have certainly removed the fan shroud? Why risk the radiator?

But, in the end - might as well left the radiator in - while it was out, one of the kids knocked a hole in it anyways! Just as well, after a closer inspection, the tank was starting to crack anyway - so a new one was needed afterall.
