Installing Hooker Super Comp Long Tubes #2210

I'm installing the Hooker Super Comp Long Tubes #2210 on My Camaro and the driver side will not go in from the bottom without raising the engine. What is the best place to jack the engine from the bottom after taking out just the driver side motor mount? It it safe to place a block of wood under the oil pan and lift from there? I will not jack up the balancer to gain the access and I dont have an option of taking the hood off and using a engine hoist.
Thanks:
I have read the Sticky on FAQ, but they do not recommend how to raise the engine.....

Yes, a block of wood under the oil pan will work.
