This might help somebody
A few weeks back I had a post on the electronics board about my tach had stopped working. I noticed the car was not cranking like it used to. It would take several times to get it to crank and start running. Well I blew it off and it laid down on me yesterday. My bud towed it home for me and I determined it was getting fuel and I didn't have any spark. Naturally I started with the simple things first. I checked the pick-up coil, it was good, the coil checked out good. I had the ignition module checked and that was the culprit. I replaced it and put in a new Blue Streak cap and rotor. I got in and cranked it up, it started in just a second or two. I looked at the tach and it was working again. Lesson learned- One electrical problem can lead to another. I'm just glad I hadn't torn the dash down to try to figure out why the tach wasn't working. BTW this was on a 92 z28 with the 5.7 TPI with a few mods.
