Major issues with the formula

Ok, today, I started the formy and if I let it idle it dies. When it did this before, it would run fine after about 5-10 miutes. This time, even after driving it for 25 miles, everytime I came to a stop it would die. I had to keep giving it gas to keep it running. It starts right back up, but it won't idle at all. After the car is moving, it isnt lacking power or anything. I think that the pump may have taken a shat. Any ideas?

sounds more like the IAC is stuck, or the IAC & the throttle plates are sludged up really bad.
a good cleaning with some spray carb cleaner may fix it it up. a should turn up how to clean them.
