Oil Pressure Keeps Fluctuating
Hey folks, my car's oil pressure is acting very wierd.
When I start the car the oil pressure tops out at 60, but then gradually goes down to one spot above 0 PSI, (Digital Dash)
When it gets that low the pressure starts to fluctuate between 0 and 30 and continues to do so.
The car runs perfectly fine when it's doing this, even right at 0, but I still dont want to take a risk of messing something expensive up.
How do I get the pressure to stop jumping around?

Most likely just the sending unit has bit the dust.
You can either spend a few bucks and replace the sending unit in hopes that is the problem or spend about the same ammount of money and get a mechanical gauge to throw on there to check the pressure. Then if it all checks out good on the mechanical gauge its either the sending unit or the gauge itself that is pooched.

Its the sending unit, mine done the same thing, changed it out and fixed the problem. When you get one make sure its the right range, I think they make 2 different ones so just double check the numbers....GOOD LUCK.
