ticking lifters
Anyone having the same problem? Can't seem to get away from it even after tightening them.
You think your rocker arms are ticking? Some fuel injectors make a ticking sound, but rockers are more of a clacking loose sounding... sound. If your lifters are making noise they probable need replacement.

Yuppers. Those would be injectors. My SVOs are so loud you can hear them at a stoplight. Everybody thinks its the rockers, but its the injectors.
Go back and loosen your rockers. Might as well adjust them with the car running also. Back off the nut till you HEAR the rocker. Then tighten till it stops and add a 1/4 turn.

Thanks for the info, that sucks though. Can we quiet the injectors? Clean them or something.
