80 mph cluster upgrade to 120 or 145 mph
Do I have to change anything at the transmition if I'm upgradeing my 80 mph cluster to the 120 or 145 mph cluster?

1000 turns of the cable per mile, is still 1000 turns per mile, no matter what numbers are painted on the scale or how far the pointer goes before it runs out of numbers.
In fact, if you look at your current speedo and see how many degrees the pointer swings through as it goes from 0 to say 75, and then see how many degrees the other swings through, you will see they are the same. In other words, the actual speedo guts are identical; only the paint job on the scale has been changed (and the location of the trip meter reset stalk.... )
