Fuel line upgrade

Hey guys,

I have searched and cant seem to find an answer.

My original mechanical fuel pump has started to give out so I am going to replace it with a new electric unit. In the process I plan on replacing the stock fuel line with braided -6 AN fuel line. My question is how do I connect the new -6 AN line the fuel tank. My car is carburetated and just has a intank pickup. Is there a fitting I can use to connect the new -6 AN line to the stock steel line right after it comes out of the tank or do I have drop the tank and connect the new line there?

Thanks in advance.
