Carb vs. TPI

I'm looking to pick up another 3rd gen soon. I know that it's got to be a 'Bird, and it's got to have a 350.

I'm not sure though if I'd be better off with a carb or TPI car. I really like the L98's, the torque and drivability are great. But I'm wondering if a carb'ed car might be the way to go.

Basically, I want a fast car. My L98 GTA was a high 14 second car, while my LS1 Formula was a low 13 second car. I'd like to be running low at least 13's, or high 12's with a 3rd gen. I know this can be accomplished with both induction systems, but is it more feasible on a carb'ed car?

It's mainly going to be a street car and semi-DD, but it'll see the track once a month or so.

Those running TPI, would you stick with it if you could do it all over?

Same question for the carb guys, would you go TPI if you had a 2nd chance?

Main issue I see with the carb'ed car is that it will most likely be an earlier 3rd gen, so it'll probably need more work, and legality is a concern, as far as passing emissions and getting a sticker. Also, since the track is over 2 hours away, I wonder about the driveability.

Thanks alot for any info.
