valve train gurus need help rocker stud broke
car was running week so i pulled rocker covers an found #3 intake rocker snapped and the lifter completely broken also. I have edelbrock 6085 heads with the springs that come with them. my cam specs are in my sig. i have 1.6 roller tipped rockers by comp cams. do i have to much lift? are the 1.6 rr worth it? what would cause this? i was driving normal at the time it broke off my lash was set at 1/2 past O lash lifters are less than a year old. stock pushrods. any suggestions thanks:

spoke to edelbrock today.. the claim that a longer .100 pushrod would solve my problem, of binding at the rocker arm slot. edelbrock literture says to do so . how will this solve it? and were would i get the best deal on 7.300 push rods.
