Lug nut thread size?

Does anyone know the lug nut thread size on an 82 z28. Someone told me it was 12 x 1.5mm but that was on a 4th gen.

Most if not all third gens are 12mm x 1.5. I'm not sure the exact year GM switched to metric wheel studs. The pre metric studs will be 7/16" NF

Stephen is exactly right. I think "someone" is mistaken.

You can look them up in the lug nut section of AutoZone or some such, basically anywhere that sells wheels.

my '82 TA uses metric lugnuts as well, I think the studs and nuts are stamped "metric".
