1.6 rockers and pushrods

If I go to 1.6 rockers can I still use the stock length pushrods?

i did, but you MUST use a pushrod length checker, its all about geometry.

P.S. - i have a comp cams adjustable 7.8 - 8.8 if you need it.

Yes. I just fired my new L98 with trickflow heads, stock cam, stock length 7.2 hardened apr pushrods and summit (noisy ***) 1.6 roller rockers. The geometry is dead on. These heads use guide plates but you need to make sure your heads have enough clearance for the pushrods as the 1.6 rr's will alter they're location where they come through the head. You need to be sure if you need self aligning or not and you may encounter valve cover clearance issues also. If you want my recommendation DO NOT cheap out on the quality of the roller rocker you buy! The summit brand are NOISY!
