Pull through stock fuel pump?

I want to go to a manual fuel pump, for my new motor. I'm running new fuel lines and want to know if i can hook up to where the old pump came out of the tank. Thanks.

You will most likely not be able to pull enough fuel through the stock in tank pump.

Either keep the elec pump and use a regulator or intall a pickup in the tank.

well, just one more thing keeping me off the road. I guess it'll be fine because the sheetmetal inside the car was removed before to access the fuel tank, do i can get it open again real easy. Thanks for the replies, saved me some time.
