scat and fluidamper

I recently purchased the rotating assembly from scat, 383 crank, all forged. The tech guy @ Scat said DO NOT run a fliudamper. They have had numerious failure of their cranks with the use of fliudamper. Anyone else hear anything like that? Anyway the procharger is the next purchase, 1200 hp here I come!
