this problem just started and its the last thing i need

anyway

for the past few days when i put the pedal down my car's power is like cut in half and it sounds like i have a 4 banger.

example:
i put it into 3rd and gunned it. i got the power loss with a much higher pitched engine noise. i was around 2200rpm then i just left the pedal down and it caught back at about 3000 rpm then it just went away my power double and my engine sounded normal again

im at a total loss at what itd be tried searching didnt really find anything

 

looks like i found the problem

ran my scanner and got code 54. my fuel pump took a ****

 

Congrats on finding your problem, nothing wrong with a 4 banger unless you want better gas mileage!

im not gonna have a car for like 2-3 weeks until i have enough money to fix it
