Bad ecm? I think so...but im not sure
My car has been running really crappy lately. i took it to the mechanic and he replaced a bunch of stuff but it didnt do the trick. he replaced spark plugs, distributor parts (just about all of em). adjusted the feul pressure, and reset the timing and still no help (well maybe for a couple days). anyhow, it started acting funny again. i got codes 41 and 42 at first, and now im getting 54. 41 pretty much says bad ecm or incorrect memcal, but the car was fine before (ran fine from june to october, then sat till april). anyhow, i waited 10 seconds and turned on the power. guess what, i heard the feul pump, and it started very quickly as usual (about half a second of cranking). then i gave it a few hours, started right up...i dont think my feul pump is bad. do you guys think all of these problems (or just a bad computer thinking i have problems) is the computer?
