Im tossing around the two and cant decide...Im leaning towards the stealthram anyways...Im probably going to have to changes heads anyways...I have the Edelbrock Perfomer RPM's.....but Edelsays they will work fine with the stealth........Im also going to change the cam thats in it now...is the stealth easy to install?..looks like it..
with the RPM's that a stealthram produce...will I even use that on the street?....I dont want something thats going to be a lug down low unitl I get up in the RPM's......most races are won in a holeshot....and on the street most of the time its from a roll.....so will the stealthram give me what I want?

Just from seeing the two pieces installed and uninstalled, the Holley Stealthram is a WAY easier piece of equipment to work with, and far better designed. IMO it has better performance charactoristics as well. Have you ever ridden in an LT1 car? The HSR is very similar to the LT1 intake.

I'd vote for using the HSR.

no ive never ridin in an LT1...but with my 305 I was beatin stock LT1's and with the 100 shot I was stayin right with LS1's from a 10 roll....with the HSR will I still have plenty of lowend power?

The HSR is a great intake...very easy to work on, great power potential, and relativly inexpensive. With heads and a cam this will give you much more top end power. Won't feel like a long runner TPI down low but depending on how serious you go with the heads cam that may not matter.
The Superram is also great. It has a little 'better' low end and midrange but is more expensive and a pain to work on.

It will be similar to the change of going from stock manifolds to LTs. The powerband is going to shift upwards, but you'll gain ALOT all over the curve.

with a higher stall converter, what you would lose under 2000 rpms with the HSR is more than made up for. not all races are won on a holeshot.
