Lost Power? MSD Box!
Installed my new 6AL MSD Box, and car will not run correct. I have Accel, cap/rotor/wires/coil. I noticed that with the MSD hooked up I won't peel out in first and car will hardly shift into 4th. After I hit 3,000 RPM's my tach starts to jump but not much. Already searched and found the answer for that. But that's not my problem. Without the MSD Box hooked up my car runs great! It just won't shift into 4th (goes into caution and red line) and won't launched like usual. Right now I have the 6,000 RPM REV Limiter in the box. I don't know what to do... I'm to the point that I want to get my money back, or can I remedy this with a new MSD Blaster coil and new MSD Distributor?

What are you running for plugs? I'd look to the general state f tune again. Is the box new or used? Tried it without the chip in it?

For plugs I'm using NGK UR4-IX Irridium Spark Plugs gapped at .035. The box is brand spankin new, and no I did not try without the chip. Will try though...
So you think I should go ahead with a new tune job? Now if I was to do that would it be best to get a whole new distributor or just go with the cap/rotor/coil/wires?
Edit: (Update)
Disconnected battery to "reset EFI", taped up all connections, and made new better ground. And car runs better, not many straight/uncrowded roads around here to test on, but the car does have some of its power back. I'm going to go ahead with the new tune when my headers arrive (about a week hopefully). So now the same old questions as before... Do I go with a new distributor (half my paycheck=ouch) or just new cap/rotor?
