loose rocker arms?
now that i got my cutout put on ive been manually shifting my automatic so it would sound better driving around town and i think i over reved it a lil took it to about 5k rpm and it usually shifts around 4,500 when i leave it in drive. Now when it gets in the higher rpms like 4k it makes a loud fast rattleing sound. To me i thought it could have been that a few of the rockers were loose, but ive never heard a car with loose rockers before so i dont know what it would sound like. hopefully i didnt bend any pushrods or anything els can any one help me diagnose this problem. its fine as long as i dont bring the revs up past 4k or so

If thats the only time it does it, you prolly need new valve springs.
Once u float te valves once, it happens a little sooner each time u do it. this effect is magnified on older springs also.
Check everything out before you do anything else.
Studs have been known to pull out of stock heads as well as rocker nuts back off, so check it all out befroe u do anything else.
