Bypassing the oil switch
How do you bypass the oil pressure switch on the drivers side of the block. Its a 3 wire switch so I don't know which wires to loop to eliminate it. I am putting in my own gauges and want to work off of that hole. Help me please.

I could be wrong here, but i think if you jump out the ops you will be supplying 12 volts directly to your fuel pump and it will not shut off.
You may need to put a tee in the hole to retain your ops and use the other side of the tee for your gage.

Ok, well thats what I have already. I put a tee in there but to do that I had to use a stright piece to extend it out from the block. I have long tube headers and had to do it that way to clear the header. But I want to get rid of it all together. I did the same thing on my 80 camaro but that was a 2 wire plug and all you had to do was loop the 2 wires together. The ops gets in the way of some of my other stuff.

Some of the older third gens use a much smaller ops with only 2 spades on it, like the one in my 86, used just for the fuel pump, the gage sender was a seperate part, maybe you could adapt one of those to your setup.
