how do i make use of a laptop i have acess to? can i use it as a scanner. i would like to obtain more engine performance information than what i can get then with jumping diagonstic to ground. how do i turn my laptop into a OBDI scanner? i own a 1989 camaro RS 305 TBI, a 1994 s10 blazer 4.3 CPI W engine, and a 1996 corsica 3.1 SFI. i would like the ability to read data from all 3 vechiles so OBDI and OBDII scanning ability would be nice. primary i am interested in obtaining engine performance data from my 89 camaro but it would be nice to be able to use the scanner with all 3 vechiles.
