sound like a timing issue?
well i just got done doing my lim gasket and i didn't use a timing light yet cause i wanted to see if it would leak anywhere when started but when i start it, sometimes it stalls but usally it just idles real low like it has a cam or somehting then all assuden the idle will jump like i gave it throttle
i am thinking timing
anyone else?

Sounds like your IAC motor is clogged. The IAC motor regulates the air going into the car at cold start. Remove the IAC motor and clean it. I removed my throttle body and IAC motor when I had the same problem and cleaned both. That took care of the same problem in my car. estimated time and cost. 45 min and $3.50 for throttle body cleaner.

i was thinking it wouldn't be the iac cause the car ran liek a champ a few weeks ago before i tore it down to do the intake gasket. i left the t/b and everything connected to the plenum.
but i guess i can try something
