hey guys whats up, just wanted to post up here and show/tell you what was wrong with my car and hopefully help some ppl out.... car was running like **** (when it did run) so my thoughts were either bad gas or a fuel pump.... turns out it was this little p.o.s stock rubber hose that connects the pump to the main fuel line in the tank, it wore a hole over time.....and the best part is that it decided to fail and finish wearing through the day after i bought the car.... FUN!



i replaced it with a piece of fuel line hose and it runs like a champ... hope this helps someone diagnos a prob....

That "rubber hose" is actually the pulsation damper, which is why is is so soft and elastic. Been there:



I've collected a load of photos of failures at the pulsation damper. Those cheap plastic latch clamps need to go, too.
