Help

Im new to the muscle car scene and i have a 87 Z28 camaro, 305 4bbl edlebrock carb as well as manifold, and headers. every where i turn i get that the 305 is no good. what is the max hp i could get from it, and what mods would i have to make? or would it just be cheaper to swap to a 350?

a search should turn up a good number of posts on this subject as it has been gone through many times.

there is nothing necessarily wrong with a 305, you can get good power from them. but, you can spend the same amount of money on a 350 & get more power, "there is no replacement for displacement" comes to mind, which is a true statement.

all other things being equal, the bigger motor always wins.
