crank, no start problem
L98 with LT1 intake... I was having cold start problems with it before and had to play with the timing to get it started. Once I got it started and it ran a minute then it would restart no problem until it got completely cold again. Now I can't get it started at all. Timing is right (tried switching the wires 180° too), and I have spark. I moved the base timing all over with no luck. It's getting fuel to the injectors but I don't have noid lights to check if it's firing them, though they worked fine before and I haven't done anything different. I tried spraying some brake cleaner (didn't have any starting fluid) in the TB and that didn't do anything, it's not even trying to start. Any guesses?

A no start condition is always either a lack of fuel, spark, or compression. Compression usually is not the problem. Make sure you are getting fuel pressure first, then check for spark and compression next.

Someone mentioned to me that it could be the coolant temp sensor. I guess if it goes bad the ECM thinks it's -60° and makes it too rich start. That's easy enough to check, just need to find the sensor range chart. I will also check fuel pressure.

Its really hard to make a car be too rich to run. Granted, it will run like crap, but it will run nonetheless. I had a friend with a Supra that had a hole the size of a quarter in his intercooler piping. The car ran "pig rich" as he put it, but it still ran. I would look elsewhere, like possibly lack of fuel (has to be something that would affect all cylinders, not just a few).
