when my car is hot, its very hard to start my car, i have a 86 camaro z28. 81 350 motor, supartine belt system, i have a new battery and alt, dont its very hard to start, what can be the problem

 

the problem could either be vaporlock or a bad starter

 

whats a vaporlock

 

does it turn over and not start? since you referanced the battery and alt. i'd guess that is the case, if so you need a new starter, don't confuse new and rebuilt. vapor lock is when the fuel becomes more vapor than liquid and can't be pumped. if you have an electric pump vapor lock isn't your problem, unless you wrapped a line around a header tube.

 

yes it will turn over but wont start , try and try again it will start
