Idle Air Control Valve ?

My car will not idle correctly and it seems to be running really bad. The car starts fine - but you have to give it constant gas (foot on accelerator) to keep it running. It also seems to have lost alot of power - sometime not hitting all cylinders or something?

Does this sound like an IAC problem? Would this think casue the engine to run like crap too?

Any help at all would be great - no one would reply on my last post...

THANKS!

-Tyler

Check for a vacuum leak before replacing parts - it's amazing how bad a car can run with a vacuum leak. Check all hoses, and spray carb cleaner around all vacuum connections and intake - listen for the idle to increase or smooth out - that's your vacuum leak area. And please DON'T use starting fluid - it is way too combustible and the slightest spark can start a fire (ask me how I know).

So I bought som carb cleaner and took off my IACV and cleaned it all out. The Spring on it wasnt functioning at all. I was able to loosen it up a bit - but still feels like it isnt functioning correctly. I sprayed some carb cleaner in the TBI and checked all of my hoses.

The car now idles alot smoother - but still is a little shaky. It didnt die though!

I pulled the codes again and I'm getting a 13 and a 23.

13. Oxygen sensor signal stays lean during warm engine cruise

23. Low temperature at manifold air temperature sensor OR Throttle position sensor error

Any help on what's up with these? Could any of these two errors make the car run real bad?

thanks for your help!
