Looking for some suggestions here... I am having to turn my key on and off about 3-5 times before my fuel pump cuts on.... i noticed this a few days ago when the car didn't start on the first try. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. possible fuel pump going out???

 

Could be the fuel pump relay

 

sounds like maybe a VATS problem...

 

i'll swap out the relay and see what happens.... VATS only disables injector pulses on my car. already had a run in with that. haha. thanx fella's

 

sometimes when the fuel system has pressure in it, the fuel pump wont kick on. it does not kick on every time.

 

i'm aware that the pump should not prime each time, but in the morning, when the car hasn't been touched in over 10 hours....it should prime. not only is the pump not priming, but the car won't start. it will crank over, just no start.
