Ok i did the carb swap and i did change it to hei, but im not getting spark. i hooked up the coil wires to the hei pink and white, to batt and tack, but still no spark what did i do wrong, was i suppost to keep the old coil and run that plug coming off of the coil that plugs in to the old dist.

what distributor did you take our-internal coil, large HEI

whats in there now-small HEI with external coil

I do not want to start guessing how to help you without knowing what we are working with
