intake and carb question
i have a 86 camaro 350, i want to change my intake manifold to a better aftermarket one and a better carb , can someone give me options on betters ones

Yikes. Don't get your hopes up on gaining power with that swap.
Be sure you know the consequences also.
What are on it now? Computer controlled stock carb?
You'll need a non-computer controlled distributor, and a method to lock up your torque convertor.
And you probably won't gain much power, and you'll lose upwards of $700.

first of all my engine is not stock, just the intake manifold, and i have eldbrock carb that i dont like, im not locking up my torque convertor.
i jsut got my tranny replace, i just it back from the tranny shop, it cost me alot of money beefing up my tranny

Well if the engine isn't stock, then we can't possibly make any intake manifold suggestions without some info on it.
Which Camshaft?
What heads?
What's your operating powerband?
Street or drag use?
You're not locking up your torque convertor? And you just replaced the trans eh? Got a big cooler on it now?
