CR Please?
Can you tell me what kind of CR i have?
Its a 350 block with 083 casting heads, that have had a valve job done
With Cast Aluminum Pistons
and im not sure if this matters but the cam specs are : (268/280) (224/230 duration) (.477/.480 lift) (110 degrees LSA)
This is all info from the guy i bought the car from. Which is acurate but i dont know what kind of pistons are in it?
Thank you,

Need to know the specs on those pistons and the headgasket used.
Heres a calculator
Compression Ratio Simulator
It takes alot of information to calculate your CR! And that only does static CR, if you want to find out your dynamic CR thats a whole different story!

thats the problem he didnt tell me either of those which really sucks. I know stock tpi engine above 88 had 9.3:1. Im putting a roots blower on this weekend, so it looks like i will be getting 76CC heads...

You should really find out all this information before you attempt a forced induction setup.
For all we know they could be a domed piston runnint 12:1cr on those 64 cc heads, and 76cc heads wouldnt drop enough to run much boost!
Im not saying thats what you have, but its definately a possibility. It could also be running 8:1 on those 64cc heads and going to 76cc heads would leave room for ALOT of boost!

Thats the compxe268h that you have. That much I can tell you
Yea, see if you can find a piston part #, or if he decked the block. The guy put in new pistons, he's probably got a receipt or some info no?
I'd definately want to drop the CR if you're putting on a blower. 76cc heads would be great, but not old crappy smog heads, that's shooting yourself in the foot there.
