6-3/4" damper
Would like to read some opinions on useing 6-3/4" dampers on 383 street motor stroker builds. Comments?

The engine would have to be internally balanced to do that. Externally balanced 383s (which are more common) use an blanacer with a counterweight in it- and they only come in 8" diameter.
Even with internal balance I'm not sure a little 6-3/4" balancer would control torsional vibrations well enough with the longer stroke crank, but that's just my opinion.

I run the Proffessional Products 6 3/4 balancer with my 383. I had it balanced with the motor and its super smooth to 6500-6800 dyno runs.
