ticking noise

Engine: 5.7 carb
Transmission: 700r4
ticking noise
i had an excaust leak from the headers gasket and the excaust pipe leak
and i still hear it, i just had an oil change and when listen to my motor, it souds like its coming from the carb. i knows its an old carb, its an elbrock carb. . it doesnt sound like its coming from the lifters, i had it check by a mechanic and he said its not coming from the lifters. do u think it can from the carb

when i press the gas it gets louder, can someone help, and tell me what it might be
