Moderator - If I put this in the wrong section, sorry about that, I wasn't quite sure.

I just got the results from the mechanic, and 3 of my fuel injectors are bad. I guess that would explain why she feels like she is running on 6 cylinders. Anyways I have 3 questions:

1. What size fuel injectors comes on a stock L98?
2. Is it better to put a larger size (lbs/hr) fuel injector?
3. If I use a larger injectors, do I need to change anything else to get me car running well?

I want to say stock is 22lb/hr, but that's kinda a wild shot.
No, if the motor is basically stock (looks like it is), then you don't need them. The TPI section might have better experts on this subject though.

According to the Accel catalog, stock injectors for '89-92 5.7 are 21#, 87-88 are 24#.

 

Damn...I just bought a set of 24lbs injectors.

If I put in 24lb injectors will it do any harm, my general knowledge leads me to believe the engine would be running rich.

 

you would have to upgrade the fuel pump and install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. you might want to do that since you have to remove the plenum to replace the injectors
