Questions about new heads
I was looking at these heads on ebay and was wanting some input. I know there prolly not the best but im looking for something kinda cheap. The guy says they will fit. My questions are, will it bolt up with my block and TPI intake fine? They seem like they are pretty universal so i was woundering, also any idea how much they would help me out and if they are worth it? any input would be awsome, thanks

These heads have to pre 1987 intake manifold bolt pattern.
Your 89 tpi intake manifold and heads have a differnt bolt angle on the center 4 intake bolts. Your manifold can be modified to bolt to the older bolt pattern.
these heads have much larger intake port volume 190+ vs your 160+/- ports.
They will likey give up some low end torque.
You realise that your stock 350 TPI heads (either cast 083 or aluminum 113 heads) have a ton of power potential with simple porting and maybe larger valves. You'd actually end up with a better balance of improved flow and port volume (velocity) by hopping up your heads or selecting a replacement head with a smaller 170ish intake port volume.
the TPI design induction system is all about low/mid range torque and power.
The 190cc Procomp heads are intended more for a higher power band, overall.
