I have a 92 camaro, with a built 350 (crate). I'm looking to get rid of my ac and smog, can I simply get a belt to go around my crank, alt, and water pump? I know I'd then be loosing the tensioner, and I noticed my alt. isnt on a slide(adjustable), can I get a adjustable mount?? how much hp would I be gaining off this? is it worth it? see the thing is my smog is siezed and my belt needs replacing, i figured I'd just do it all at once.. Possibility? thanks-darren

There are ac delete pulleys you can get to keep using the serpentine belt system or you can do like i did and go to the v-belt system. You will need a different alternator brackets and pulleys to do this.
