Horsepower difference?

In 1987 the GTA had 210 horsepower and 315 ft/lbs of torque
In 1988 the GTA had 225 horsepower and 330 ft/lbs of torque

What was the difference between these 2 years? I know the air intake was a little different, but is that the only thing for the increase? Is there something else?

Thanks

Maybe one was a 305TPI T5 and the other a 350 Auto.

I know my friends 88 GTA 305TPI 5 speed was rated at 215hp while my 88 Formula 305TPI Auto was rated at 195hp.
