V-Belt to Serpentine on 84 Trans Am

Hey guys, I've been looking at doing this for some time, swapping my old
v-belts for a serpentine set up, however I can't seem to find a serpentine set up that has the smog pump...which I need for where it's registered. Do any of the Firebird or Camaro's with serpentines use the smog pump? If they don't, how do they pass emissions? Thanks!

No one knows if cars with Serpentine belts came with smog pumps or not?

If you actually waited for somebody to respond, they actually might

Yeah, smog pumps came on the serp. systems. Yes the serp. system will bolt to your 84 after changing the tensioner and pulleys.

There is a tech article about removing your smog pump from serp. systems. There are a couple pictures there to help.

Thanks, and sorry. I guess I'm so used to people popping up answers right away so when nothing shows up by the middle of the next day I panic.

Cool, now I just need to find someone selling the system with the smog pump...or I can just get one that's being sold and buy the smog pump at autozone for $40.00...

Don't forget you'll need a reverse-rotation water pump.

Yup, it's probably going to be a summer project. I'm still working on my interior at the moment, I just never see anyone selling serpentine set up's with smog pumps...so I thought I'd ask.
