changing gauges

ok im not sure is if a straight swap but i want to change the gauges on my 83 firebird, it has an 80mph speedo and a 8000rpm rev counter thats not the problem i know you can change then without a problem the thing is the fuel gauge. on my gauges the fuel gauge is in the top right of the 4 gauges on the 120mpn cluster it is in the bottom right. does everyone follow. will the right will the feul gauge still read correct even though its in a different place i wana use so otto reverse overlays but they dont make them for my cluster
