gaskets etc for AFR heads

gaskets etc for AFR heads

just wondering if you have to use the specific gaskets AFR tries to sell you for there heads. i have a 406 i'm putting these 195's onto. what gaskets would i use, if other than out of the felpro rebuild gasket set, would i use?


also what about head studs, bolts. same lenght as usual?


and same length of push rods etc?

Use the gaskets they recommened. The biggest thing with your heads, Make sure you have them drilled for the steam holes. Use felpro gaskets.
Head bolts are the same- Rememver to use teflon sealer for them!

Pushrods shouldnt change, Pick up a pushrod length checker, there cheap and easy to use.

Far as intake gaskets, I've always used the Felpro 1205. Pushrods, I had to get longer ones so make sure you check things over.
