Rocker arms (?)

Hey guys, just a quick post to make sure that my understanding of this is correct:

When I bought my heads, I specified 7/16" studs, (since they were a no-cost option) for the added valvetrain stability. I started looking for full-roller rocker arms that met all of the following criteria, & so far, no-one has been able to tell me that they exist.

* 1.5 ratio
* narrow-body
* fit 7/16"studs
* made from steel

I'm pretty sure that I could get all of this if I was willing to forgo the use of centerbolt valve covers, but my experience has been that (over the long term) they seal a hell of a lot better than perimeter-bolt covers do. On top of that, I've already found a set of centerbolt valve covers that I like pretty well (see my vBGarage), & I'd prefer not to sell them if there's a way around it.

Now the 7/16" studs are somewhat more important to me than the centerbolt valve covers, so if I have to make a choice, that's the direction I'd probably go - but if there's any way, I'd sure like to have both...

Whaddya think, guys??

The only real full-roller steel rocker arm that I know of are the Comp Pro-Magnums... You can get those for 7/16" stud in 1.5 ratio... Not sure about centerbolt clearance though...

Thanks thirdgen88, I appreciate the response.

Anyone else have any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?? I really didn't expect that it would have people baffled(?) like this...

Re: Rocker arms (?)

Hmm. I'd really be grateful if someone had some good, solid info on this. Maybe I can get better responses with more-simplified questions...

Am I correct in my understanding that centerbolt valve covers require narrow-body rocker arms?

I figure that the combination of 7/16" studs & "narrow body" rocker arms more than likely means that there's just not enough room to create a roller rocker arm with enough strength to last any reasonable amount of time - anyone know for sure???

Thanks all...

Re: Rocker arms (?)

Yes. Otherwise the inside supports and baffles don't clear the rockers.

Makes sense on the 7/16 option.

I had to go perimeter because my rockers wouldn't clear the inside supports on my centerbolts.

OK, thanks Viprklr. That's what I suspected, but I really wanted to be proven wrong...
