Definately. Cruise on over to the TPI board, they know more about TPI specific setups.
High lift cam, better flowing heads with smallish ports, the normal stuff.

Re: 300 peak rwhp at 4000 rpm?
With TPI, the typical peak HP seems to be around 4400-4800 RPM with peak torque at 3600 RPM. Teh most important factors will be the heads, and especially the cam. The cams torque band should match the TPI intakes torque band, or itll be down on power. Youll also have to fiddle with the tune in the ECM, as you'll likely max out the dinky stock MAF and hit the limits of the ECM's hardware and fueling routines. There are some work arounds for this, but theyre all sort of messy.

To get 300 RWHP, you'll need about 365 FWHP.
365 FWHP @ 4000 RPM = ~480 ft-lbs @ 4000 RPM
Don't think it's going to happen with a 350 on pump gas.

Getting over 300 RWHP is possible with the TPI with lots of mods, but itll likely be 400-800 hundred RPM higher then what you want due to the resonance.

Here ya go....
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...-tpi-dyno.html
Look at what's different from a stock motor with a K&N filter. Compare parts lists, and see how far you have left to go to equal his combo.
Now, add up the $$$$ in those parts. Add up ONLY the parts that directly contribute to HP; heads, intake, runners, rockers, TB, cam, exhaust. Divide the $$$$ by the HP that it bought him. This is roughly 100 HP over SHOWROOM stock. Rule of thumb in this hobby, is $10 per HP is a good deal; anything over that, you should be finding some other way to get power. That means, for those 100 HP, he should have spent about $1000.
Is this method of producing power (modding TPI) a good deal, or what?
Incidentally, the cam selection is contained both in his part list and in THE TITLE OF HIS POST.
