Summit adjustable fuel line WTF !!

I just got my summit adjustable fuel line for my mighty demon and I already have a in line fuel filter from holly. The summit fuel line has this gold looking piece of crap they call a filter for it which I dont like. My question is if I take out that gold filter and kept my inline filter will the guage in the summit fuel line read accuratly or not because there filter is not in there.

Yes, it will work fine.

Are you talking about a sintered bronze filter? Those work fine.

Yes it has the bronze filter in it but it doesn't look like it will flow worth a crap and the guage also bottom's out on it so I want to get rid of it.

It will flow more than enough, but if you already have a filter then you could remove it.
