wierd cable

does anyone know what the name of this cable... it was found behind the block of the leftside of my motor, attached... my camaro is a 91 Z28 TPI 5.0L

cant tell, how many wires does it have, color of them? maybe get a closer picture of just the plug end, we cant even tell what the plug looks like

well that plug is definately not original equipment, i have never seen that before, looks like something after market. maybe someone else knows or maybe johnz28 is on the right track with a block heater. was it just laying there not plug into anything on either side?
