New here. Horn question.

Hi there,

first time iv'e posted on here as i only had the car a few weeks.
Bought a black 89 GTA as a replacement to my C4 vette which werent getting used anymore what with there being no seats for the kids to sit.
And i must say, with the exception of build quality (the trans am aint exactly built like a merc lol) i actually prefer it to the corvette.
Nicer looking(i think) better ride quality, roomier and more practical while still having the same performance and the T-top is a lot easier to take out than the one piece targa top.

anyway, could one of you kind chaps tell me where the horn is located on the car, as it doesnt appear to be working and on a quick glance under the hood it wasnt obviously in plain sight.

Thanks.

Re: New here. Horn question.

It is behind the turn signal bulb in the drivers finder. There should be 2.

Yep, buried inside the drivers side fender!

You should be able to see the wires, just chase them under there and you will find the horn

Re: New here. Horn question.

That's where it is yes, but I might be inclined to guess it's a connectivity issue in your horn. You can pop off the horn button with a screwdriver (or a good strong fingernail) and peek at the connections. If they're crusty and old try scraping them off and maybe rubbing some copper anti-seize on it, and retry it.
