EXTREME FRUSTRATION PLEASE HELP
89 camaro will not start. Battery isn't dead. Fuses good. when I turn the key on, the engine wont crank. When attempting to start manuelly, it will crank but wont spark. My steering wheel is a bit sloppy and rocks back and forth a bit. I replaced the VATS black box 1 year ago. I replaced the lock cylinder at the same time.
I have had 3 mechanics over to check it out and can't figure out what is wrong.
PLEASE HELP If you have any questions, I will answer to the best of my knowledge.

Re: EXTREME FRUSTRATION PLEASE HELP
have you tried putting it in neutral, maybe safety switch ,also theres a switch on the steering column that the clutch padal hits ,also in the same spot on automatic, check switch on the top of the steering column where the wiring harness hooks to,hold key switch in crank position while moving harness with other hand may have a loose connection this is all i can think of off the top of my head, hope you get it fixed problems like this can drive you crazy ,later jimmy

A loose tilt mechanism can keep the ignition rod from operating the ignition switch properly.
