RPMS and speed drops
I've been having this issue for the past month that I've had my camaro now where I will just be driving lightly, going 30 mph. All of a sudden my cars RPMs will drop from like 2000 to 850ish and my speed will decrease around 5-10 mph. And it will stay like that till i take my foot off my gas pedal. It seems like there's too much of a load on the engine? But yet again at high speeds it does the same exact thing only to a lesser degree. Also whenever i stomp on the gas it sputters and almost stalls but then 2-3 seconds later everything will come back up and actually go and not hesitate. I've replaced every vacuum line in the engine bay to make sure I have no leaks. I have a hunch it's the carb?? I don't really know though. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

check out this topic i made yesterday... i had the same exact problems...
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...very-very.html
it turns out it was the kick down cable going from the carb to the transmission, it was shot, and it wouldnt let my car go down a gear(over drive) when I floored it.
The only way to make it accelerate properly was to take my foot off the gas...
Trust me it most deff is the kickdown(tv) cable. You could get one and do it yourself but its a hassle as it runs down past the distributor down into the tranny... A mechanic should do it for $75-$150, not that hard of a job...
