Acceptable oil PSI?

Just got to testing my gauges. It was very hot outside today I started the t/a up and the mechanical gauge reads 35-40psi , the stock dash read a little higher but it always always wacky. This is at about 700rpm. I let the engine warm up for 5 mins at 700-900rpm the oil psi is 20-25 psi. When I hit the gas and rev to about 1500rpm it goes up to nearly 40psi. Does that sound about right for a 180,000km LG4? I didn't take it on the freeway or anything but the engine did get warm.

Re: Acceptable oil PSI?

10 PSI or more per 1000 RPM is more than enough.
