some one please give me i deas to what might be wrong with this beater i just bought no smoke at start up, but once warmed up constant blue and black smoke, strong fuel smell in exaust but engin has lots of power lots of hesitation. At idle oil press is @ 38 . At a red light it drops to 5psi scary and oil is leaking from front and back of motor. suggestion's please as to what is wrong with my motor. what should i do i have bought a carbeurator and valve cover gaskets but have not instaled them yet i also have found a strong running non smoking 350 for 300 bucks bone stock with headers

Lots of power but it hesitates, or...?


That engine probably has some major problems, rings, gaskets, etc. I might look at the 350 for $300..
